New! The Sioux-lebrity Swine Show

In an effort to raise awareness for the Sioux Empire Livestock Show’s long history of youth development and economic impact, the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce is holding its first ever Sioux-lebrity Swine Show. Eight notable, influential people from the community will be paired with a youth exhibitor who will teach them the basics of exhibiting a hog.

Our “Sioux-lebrities” include:

  • Vernon Brown, Associate Vice President of External Affairs for South Dakota State University
  • Addie Graham-Kramer, CEO & Founder of The Event Company
  • Jeff Griffin, President & CEO of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce
  • Alex Halbach, Partner at Halbach | Szwarc Law Firm
  • Terry Liggins, Founder & Executive Director of TLC Services and Hurdle Life Coach Foundation
  • Luke Lindberg, CEO of South Dakota Trade
  • Cory Myers, Production Director with Fresh Produce
  • Maddie Peschong, Owner/Photographer of Maddie Peschong Photography + White Space Studio
  • Mayor Paul TenHaken, City of Sioux Falls
 
Come see these notable figures get a hands-on education in agriculture and the art of swine showmanship! The show is open to the public and will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 9 a.m. in the North Room of the Expo Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
